Its a rental house so thats just how it came. I suppose I should probably buy a shit load of peg board hooks and make the most of it eh.

Probably not as long as it would take you to nut up and race anybody on here.

Its a project car, so its never going to be "finished". Once I get the forged engine built, there is tons more things to do....

-Complete cage, twin driveshaft loops, custom fab dash, tubular front end with engine plate, tub the rear to run the biggest small tire I can.
-Shortened, built and braced 9" with full parallel setup and anti roll bar.
    -Built 2 speed th400 with a transbrake
-Redo the turbo setup to run twin ball bearing 78's, potentially with an intake mounted a2w setup.

Btw, I've been out racing people the last few years with it in lincoln.... hell it drove 2 hours to KRP, raced, and drove home. Where have you been?

My "good" shortblock I Bought from Steven (ls1 third gen) turned out to be shit. Glad I tore it apart. Grooves in bearings and scratches in cylinders. Nothing more than a core with a high volume oil pump.

The block and crank are currently out at Wischmans shop awaiting his love

    Budget build plan:

All of jon's machine love including full balance and gapping the rings.
Wiseco Junkyard Dog Forged Dish Pistons, 3.78 or 3.8 depending on block
    - Come with the good GFX ring pack
Gen 4 Rods with ARP 2000's
    Clevite H's all around
    New cam bearings
    Melling Hi Volume Pump
    LS9 Headgaskets
Cloyes Hex-adjust single roller timing set
Going to fully degree the cam and mark TDC for timing pointer.
Might look at pinning the crank too.

    Already Had:

    ATI 5.3 Super Dampener
    Stage 2 Turbo Cam
    LS7 Lifters
    Comp 7.4" Pushrods
    Trunnion Upgrade
    243 Heads milled .030
    Brian Tooley .660 springs
    LS6 Intake
    Holley Fuel Rails
SD 80lb injectors (will be upgraded, bosch 210's probably)

I swear to god if this blows up, it'll be full LSX setup time with 6 bolt heads

Engine is all finished up, but being as I have been travelling all over the country working, it may be awhile before I get it back into the car and running.

Ended up needing bore .02 over. Bored with a torque plate, balanced, the whole 9 yards. New cam retainer plate, new ls7 lifters, new Melling High Volume pump were among the parts I had to replace as well. Should be pretty stout. Now to just build me a beefy ass powerglide with a brake and swap it in...

Its built, in the car, and running. Will get the Magnafuel 4303 in the car later this week and start working on wiring in the goodies. Running ok-ish on E85 but want everything in, wired up and done before getting it fully tuned. Threw ARP head studs in it and the Bosch 210lb injectors. Finally got my catch can in and setup, and added a Howe overflow. "home" ceramic coated the manifolds. Haven't driven it a whole lot but it pulls nicely. Cold idle about 60psi, hot idle about 50. Breaks 100psi oil pressure in throttle. Me likey

Protuner 750 and 16 gallon fuel cell in. EBC in and wired up. Launch control wired up. It all works.

Dyno tune saturday to get it lined out and the goodies set up right. Will probably take it to I29 the 28th to get some testing in for No Prep on the 29th.
